Hi Cazz and Simone,

Sorry for my delay in reply, my four year old son started school today for the first time, he looked so smart in his school uniform, photo's in the garden the works! How time flies.

Thank you for your replies, and thank you for finding this match, I have come across this marriage before but disregarded it because it was so close to his other marriage, but I think Simone you may be spot on with the death information! how clever! How sad to think that he married his wife and she lived for six months then he married again six months later to my Great Grandmother!

Thanks again, you are always very kind and it's so good to know I can always ask for help.

Hi Julia

I hope your son enjoyed his first day at school... I remember well when my children started, although I think I was more apprehensive than them

You are right about time flying  can't believe where the last 15 years since my daughter's first day has gone  now the funs starts... hope you are good at homework

Hi Julia

I was browsing through St James, RC Church, Bootle Marriage Register and came across the following :

28.2.1920 Ernest Michael Taylor - 28 - Bachelor - Tobacco Factory Labourer of 47 Newman Street, Kirkdale - Father Joseph Taylor - deceased to Victoria Whitelock -19 - Spinster - Finisher in Dye Works of 44 Blackburn Grove, Bootle - Father Charles Whitelock - Customs Officer
By Certificate By Victor Huxtable
Witnesses William Taylor and Vera Whitelock. All signed the Register.

The name Whitelock rang a bell with me so I wrote it down, as I thought I had seen it here or on the Bootle site.

Hope this fills in your gap.

Eileen

THANK YOU!
