'Court' on baptism?

Any ideas anyone :?:

I have a baptism from 1781 from St Mary, Walton on the Hill, that states
29/4/1781 James son of Henry and Jane Whatton, Bootle.. in the right hand margin right next to it, it says 'Court 3rd? May'

the next baptism listed is for 6/5/1781..

do you think this relates to my baptism or some sort of legalities the vicar had to carry out?

Not a clue to be honest, why don't you post a copy of it and see if anybody else has any thoughts.

It does work but I hope you don't mind my adding a link to show it direct into this message.

It's an odd little note isn't it, but I notice there's another against the top line, maybe "June"? If it is then I would think that they were notes about the vicar's own diary.
