Hi, Is there a way that I can look at the Electoral Register for 1916 Liverpool. I need to look up 101 Braesnose Rd Kirkdale. Any help will be grateful. Thanks, Betty.

Registers of electors in Parliamentary elections were first required to be compiled in 1832 and have been produced annually since then with the following exceptions:
1916 to 1917 No registers
1919 to 1926 Two registers per year
1940 to 1944 No registers
1945 to 1946 Two registers per year
Sorry you won't have any luck. Maybe what you need will be found in directories - street or trade?

They are held at the Liverpool Record Office, alternatively check down our lists in the "For Posterity" board and see which of our crew hold directories for around the years in question. Changing the heading of this post might help attract attention.
