Does anyone have any info on the project. I was on it for approx 1 hr sunday evening but the it went off and today it is showing account suspended. I do hope it hasnt folded altogether Irene

I'm assuming you mean the Online Parish Clerks site - they have arrangements with a new server which is causing them problems. Back online whenever they can.

If you mean the online Parish Clerk project the search facility on the first page no longer works but you can browse individual parish records if there are any. I have just spent hours on the Ormskirk section unsuccesfuly trying to find my gr gr grandfather John Winrow. It is a great site but I guess it needs the volunteers to do the entries.

Yes the front page seems to have returned, I did hear it was the search facility that they were having the most problem with and that would be resolved as and when they were able to, meantime as Sandy says, browse at your leisure.

I used it last night for a while. the ormskirk records are brilliant, but not having much luck with liverpool Irene
