Lancashire BMD/Ambage

I'm beginning to think its me! (See Liverpool BMD/Cline).
I'm now looking at the Ambage family in Toxteth Park. LILY M AMBAGE is shown in the births for 1914 TPSW/21/15. She is not to be found on ancestry or freebmd.
Ancestry does show a Lilian M Ambage in marriages - 4Q 1943, spouse Jones. This could possibly be the Lilian E Ambage born in 1913!
I'm really grateful for your help with the Cline query - can anyone magic up Lily's mother's maiden name as well please?

Lily M Ambage Q4 1914 Toxteth P 8b 319 Mother's Maiden Name - Mawson
She is found if you check the indexes themselves, rather than relying on what might not be a completely transcribed database. The database Ancestry uses is the one from FreeBMD. The coverage for 1914 is not complete

Popsey......when using Ancestry I find it best to click UK then England and click the index desired birth marriage or death, they are on the right hand side of the screen, then type in surname only with a rough time span hit enter and you shoud get a few selected individuals at the top of the list.

Thank you both for your help - yet again! I'd kind of got out of the habit of searching through the indexes the hard way!

The Mawson is mine, but I also suspect that the other one will fit in somewhere along the line too!

Thanks Tina! That's saved me another late night. I've been looking for the 1901 now I know why I couldn't find them!
I guess I'm not too good at the old lateral thinking!

Just checked that out -I don't recognise the street name either. I'll have a look at an old street map.

Hi N.M
That's keeping it in the family hey?
My bridesmaid 1966 married our best man in 1967..
Who was my brother's brother in law, and she is my cousin Tommy's cousin
Their children are my nephews cousins, but not to my daughter, although my nephew is her cousin
That's what I love about Australia, everyone is just called "the rellies"
