Hi All, will be visiting Liverpool next week so if anyone wants a relatively easy look up, just ask - have not decided which day but probably Monday.
Look forward to hearing from you and hopefully helping wherever possible - Holly

Your help will be much appreciated.
Might I please make a request on behalf of one of our new forum members 1Sandra who has had quite a puzzle over her ancestors.
Robert Barlow to Martha Jones - 25th February, 1889
Sarah Barlow to Richard Lloyd Tuttle - 27th February, 1889
both marriages took place at St Matthews
All details please, but an important check on the dates which were from the IGI and I suspect they might have both taken place on the same day - a double wedding maybe? so wondering if they would each have witnessed the other's marriage.
Also very interested in Martha's maiden name and whether she was a widow.
Thank you Holly.

Hi Marya, I know you're a dab 'and at this - is there only one St. Matthews? Other than that a nice little enquiry which will give me great pleasure - Holl

Thanks Jan, the name was from LancsBMD so I thought there might be only the one

I think Scotland Road would be the right area.
Just about to watch W.D.Y.T.Y A. Kim Cattrall began life as a scouser I think, different opinions as to whether Mossley Hill or Widnes.

If it is not too late and you have the time could you look up the marriage Richard Radcliffe Ann Christian St Peters 6th July 1834 to see if it gives details of their parents? I am still hunting their elusive grandson John James Radciffe born around 1859 as well!
Many thanks

Jane, at that date it is unlikely that you will get their parents, with a bit of luck you might get an address and occupation. Sometimes the witnesses give clues but sometimes they appear to witness many of the marriages.

Thanks - it was a shot in the dark as there are many Ann Christians born on the Isle of Man and I was trying to narrow it down!

Hi Jane.
The marriage of Richard Radcliffe has been transcribed on LAN OPC. It doesnt give any parents.
