Would someone do a look up for me at ,178, Breck Road,Everton, after 1901.
I have a relative working there,Milly Palmer, for a family called Rubinstein,Louis the father was a Musican, and I have them in the 1901 census, but cannot find them in the 1911 census.
My relative emigrated to Canada in 1906,and wonder what happened to the Rubinstein,s did they also go somewhere else.
Many thanks Tsumi

Rubenstein

Tina tell me about names getting "mangled".I thought maybe with the 1911 things would be a lot clearer !
I am still chasing my elusive Grandfather.
Thanks very much Tsumi .

Search the census using the "Show advanced fields" button. Scroll down to "Census Reference" and enter RD455 and just above there in the "Other Members of the Household" enter
First name - Leah
Last Name - RUBENSTEIN

Leah is 36, also in the household appear to be Philip 14, Leonard 11, Annie 9, Nancy 7, Willian 5, also Elizabeth Russell age 26.

To find out the address you will have to spend your dosh and I don't know where Lewis is.

Thank you all for your help,it looks like Amelia decided to go to Canada by herself and left the Rubinsteins employment in Liverpool.
A big step for a female !

Many Thanks Tsumi :D
