Greetings from Texas
My Great Great Grandmother Catherine Byrne died in Liverpool1882 and was buried in Ford Cemetery.
Her husband Laurence Byrne (Often misspelt as Lawrence) died in 1875 in Chorlton Manchester.
Can any kind person help me to find his grave? I have been unable to find any catholic Cemetery that fits the location & period.
Thanks, Joe

Manchester City Council have a burial search facility online at
www.burialrecords.manchester.gov.uk/
that might turn up something

It might be worth checking if the date has been entered the English way about - ie 3rd October.

Unfortunately the only way I can think of, forfinding out if the Lawrence Byrne of freebmd and Lawrence Byrnes of the cemetery are the same person and the person you want is to pay the Manchester site for the further information you get by clicking on the name (you have to buy credits for this) and purchase the death certificate.
I think this is the only way round it unless anyone else can think of a way to do it without spending any money.

public ground burials are usually poorhouse burials check to see if he was a resident of the local alms house/hospital
