Register of vicars

Post by danny96boy »

Can anyone tell me if there is a register of vicars in the C.O.E. My father-in-law was vicar at St Lukes, Holmes Chapel !946-1969. I was wondering if we could trace his carrer in the church. 7177

Two suggestions:
1 try Googling the name of the church; they may have a website and contact address, then you can ask direct.
2 Crockford's Clerical Directory, published every other year should give the details you want. Someone may pick this up and look for you in a main library.
