Can anyone help with these soldiers please?

Hi Folks

A gentleman on another forum is asking for some help regarding soldiers from the last war. I will post his request below and hope someone may recognise the names.
If there is a response I will let him know.



We are updating the history of a regiment I served with during the last war. There eight graves of members of the regiment in the UK we have no information for. I give their details below in the hope someone may recognise a relative and be able to supply further information. A long shot, but you never know:

Dennis Rattingan. Royal Artillery. Aged 32. 6 March 1945. Son of Thomas & Sarah , husband of Irene Rattigan, of Widnes. Farnworth Churchyard.

Joseph Hobson. Royal Artillery. Aged 22.10 April 1943. Son of Earnest & Betty, husband of Elsie Hobson, of Little Lever. Little Lever Churchyard.

John Leslie Knight. Royal Artillery. Aged 37. 7 November 1947. Son of Samuel & Elizabeth, of Runcorn. Runcorn Cemetery.

Alfred Cyril Phillips. Royal Artillery. Aged 29. 20 May 1944. Son of William & Louise, husband of Marianne Phillips, of Liverpool. Toxteth Park Cemetery.

William Greenhalgh. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire). Aged 20. 22 April 1943. Son of Harry & Beatrice, of Bolton. Bolton Cemetery.

Joseph Hilton. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire) Aged 27. 30 April 1941. Son of John & Alice, husband of Freda Hilton, of St Helens. St Helens Cemetery.

John Hogan. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire) Aged 28. 1 September 1940. Son of John & Beatrice Hogan, of Warrington. Warrington Cemetery.

John Colin Lomax Ramsdale Johnson. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire). Aged 30. Son of Samuel & Florence Johnson, of Birkenhead. Heswall Churchyard.

Walter Lea. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire) Aged 29. 3 April 1941. Son of Palentine & Caroline Lea, of Kirkdale, Liverpool. Kirkdale Cemetery.

William Edward Lovett. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire) Aged 33. 23 September 1941. Son of James & Harriet Lovett, of Seaforth, Liverpool. Bootle Cemetery.

Richard Edward Pugh. The Loyal Regt. (North Lancashire). Aged ?. 9 March 1944. Llanfihangel-Y-Pennant (St Michael) Churchyard.
