The short answer is yes, if the family lived at St Oswald Street the children could well have attended St Francis Xaviers school, the location is correct.
The longer answer is that without the admission dates to the school to match up with the childrens dates of birth, we couldn't give our best judgement.
I noticed that on the 1881 census there are five Michael Doyles, of approximately the correct age, born Ireland and living in Liverpool. As we don't know which one is yours, please give the full details from this census.
There isn't an 1850 census, I presume you mean 1851? If you already have the details from the in between censuses (1871 and 1861) please also give those since this information is often invaluable to pinpoint the correct family.
You should also give the date of his marriage and his wife's name.

I have a few further questions please.
You presumably have Michael's father's name - Patrick, from his marriage certificate? Does it say deceased by his name? If so was this on the certificate for his first marriage or the second?
Are you assuming that William (born approximately 1845) to be Michael's brother? William was born in Ireland when Michael would have been approximately 8 years old.
What evidence do you have that he came to Liverpool as a child, presumably if he did he would have come with parents and could that narrow down the timescale? ie after 1845.
I notice that the admission date of the two boys that you found entering St Francis Xaviers was 1854, I wonder if this could be the time when they came to Liverpool from Ireland? The fact that there is an occupation suggests that there might have been a parent, sewer sounds as if it might be the mother, perhaps there was no father at that date.
The birth dates would be worked out from the ages given - ie Michael 13 years and William 11 years 5 months, as at 11th December, 1854.
You mention Michael's birthplace as Corramacorra Wexford. Is this from family legends or do you have any firm evidence on this point? It might be worth your while joining the Rootsweb mailing list for Wexford as you might get some help discovering the church that would cover the area and the possibility of discovering their baptisms.
Just thoughts and suggestions really at this stage.
