Hi Everyone,I asked how to get info.for Ripley Hospital Lancaster and bingo!! you gave me the name and address of thesolicitors dealing with the said orphanage.
I received a reply from them with a copy of my gt uncles entry in the boys register.To find more I would have had to go to their offices to search myself which I would find quite difficult.However they will be depositing all the historical records with Lancashire Records Office during the course of the year.The staff there will be able to help.
I thought it would be of help if anybody else like me wants information about their ancestors at the school Jean

I found the solicitors extremely kind and helpful, but maybe they are inundated with requests now and indeed it's brilliant that they are depositing the records with Lancashire Record Office.
