Could anyone check a marriage in St Mary Kirkdale 1917 of Ellen Williams and George B Barnsely ref 2013WD/30/238. I would like to know if Ellen was a Widow?

For the benefit of anybody who might be able to assist with this look up, I've narrowed the year down to a quarter.
George B Barnsley married Ellen Williams Q4 1916 West Derby 8b 552.
