Hi Mary A
I really appreciate your help, no I have'nt found James Herbert or Emily, I thought James and Emma were still alive in 1881 and they were with them, untill you found the deaths, I have just found Emily in Canada in 1891 she emmigrated in 1885 and within 2 months had married a man named John Sando.
Thanks again for your help
Kind regards sue

The boys are quite easy for you to identify by their birthdates and relationship as boarders.
James is 21, living in Uxbridge Street, a Bookkeeper for a general produce merchant lodging with a Parkins family, the head having the same occupation.

Herbert is 20, living in Bennett Street, a painter and boarding with a Abrahams family, the head also being a painter.
