Hello
I am not sure if you will be able to help, I have found the marriage of James McKenna and Elizabeth Jones in 1870 on Lanashire BMD at St Paul Liverpool.
Now I dont know if there are more than one St Paul's in Liverpool ??
If any one has the time when next at the records office, to look up this marriage for me I would really appreciate it.
Regards Sue

Hi D
Thank you I had an idea there would be more than one, I dont know if this will help both James and Elizabeth lived in and around Eaton street I think on the census it say Vauxall and Howard street.
Thanks again regards Sue

That probably eliminates all but North Shore and St Paul's Square, which should help any willing volunteer.

To save anybody looking through the whole year in the register, the marriage took place during the third quarter of 1870, July - September.

My Mum and 2 of her sisters married at St Paul, North Shore, all three are on Lancashire BMD, the church is recorded as Kirkdale, St Paul North Shore so I don't think it wil be this St Paul's
The LRO Ref for Liverpool, St Paul's is 283 PAU . this at one time stood in St Paul's Sqaure , hopefully somebody will find it for you in the 3rd Qtr. July - Sept 1870 .
