Hi and I hope someone can help me with this.

Arthur ALTY born abt 1873 to Richard and Alice in North Meols.

I have him in 1881 and 1901 (Married to Elizabeth) but for the life of me can't find him in 1891!

The 1881 ref no. is rg11,piece 3752, folio 84 (impressed eh!)

Can anyone help with the 1891 census - thanks in advance - Holly ....

Have you ever driven down the main road between Preston heading towards Liverpool, bet you have noticing where you live. I've noticed a couple of Alty establishments along the road, I think one is a garage.

Indeed I have Marya - these Altys belong to my Husband and I think they ended up with donkeys on Southport beach!!! Holly
