Hi Joe

I live in Southport. Do you know the name of the hotel? There are 100s of hotels here and there are business directories available to search but we have to have a name.

What age are the ladies? Any information you have would be a help...

Good hunting...

Silverlady: Wish I knew!! But what I do know is that Monica is about 78yrs and Veronica is about 73years of age. Possibly a bit past professional life but with a good chance of still being alive!!

ON BT there is a M.Salsbury in Southport and in Blackpool there is a
V. Salisbury possibly they might be using first names in an actual Paper Phone directory.. Most appreciated, Joe in Texas

if these are the same ladies that ran a hotel in the 1970's in southport then Veronica was a spinster but Monica was her sister in law. I can see the old hotel in my mind but for the life of me cannot remember the name. it was on the corner of leister st and knowsley rd, I think it was called the knowsley.

My Monica and Veronica were sisters! But if anything else comes to mind such as her married name I would be very pleased to hear all about it.
Most appreciated! Joe

Thank you for your continued interest
Monica Salisbury born 1931 in Flint N. Wales
Veronica Salisbury born 1934 in Flint N. Wales
I have had a search through every QTR and show several possibilites for married names but nothing for certain 1947-1972

Monica- MASON

Veronica- ELLIS( was in Holywell near their original home), PIPES, O'Brien, WHITE, JONES, JOHNSON

None of these family names were for a marriage in Southport.

THERE is an outsie chance that Monica Salisbury marrierd a Mr.Mason in Holywell in 1947. Only Monica Salisbury listed 1947-1972
So she would be Mrs Mason........................Joe
