Anastacia Daly

Can anyone help with finding out what happened to the gloriously named Anastacia Daly? She appears on the 1861 census as Anestatia S Daly born in Liverpool aged 10 daughter of Paul J and Mary Ann . There is no other sign of her until a marriage to Denis O'Dwyer in September 1882. She appears as his wife on the 1891 census BUT the age doesn't match and her father is with them BUT he's down as Patrick and her father, Paul J died before the 1871 census because Mary Ann is described as a widow. Shall I just assume there were two Anastacias?
Any help welcome!

How likely would the name Daly sound like Dimpley, with a Scouse accent, to a Londoner?

Found this on the 1871, but most likely not her

Anastasia Dimpley abt 1848 Liverpool Servant St Leonard Shoreditch, London

The Anastasia listed by Sue L, looks as if she married late in life 1889 to Patrick Whelan Tox Park.
She is with him in 1891 50 bn Ireland.
As Colette suggested we need to know for deffo who her hubby was.

I found the marriage between an Anastacia Daly and Denis O'Dwyer, September 1882 West Derby, Registrar attended so I know it's the right bloke. If it's the right wife there were 4 little Dwyers (no 'O') in 1891.
Denis seems to have dropped the 'O' at random. You'd never imagine 2 names like that in the same place!

Hiya,

Look up to my previous post. On the 1881 she's born c1862. It's the same one that's with Dennis as father Patrick is a Miller, though he took 10 years off his age on the 1901!

Then it's definitely another Anestatia. Miine is the daughter of Paul Joseph and Mary Ann Daly.
I think my initial feeling that she died as a child might be right but I can't find her death either.

G'day all
Is this the correct marriage?
Paul J Daly 3rd qtr 1853 LRO or Registrar attended
to Mary Ann Green * Carney.
If Anst was 10 in 1861 perhaps she wasn't born a Daly??
back soon

1861 Nicholas A Daly 12 is in fact Nicholas A Green

marr Mary A Carney to John Green 1846 (Lancs BMD)

1851 cellar Regent St
John Green 30 stoker, Mary A 26 huckster, Nichls 2.
HO 107/2177 f290 p33
only 1 death listed Lpol John Green jul-sep qtr 1852
Anst. birth eludes me as either Green/Daly/Daley.
If she was simply listed as Ann, she could be either surname.
Will keep wombating

Hi all
Nicholas A (Albert) marries as Green to Elizabeth Bickerstaffe 1878.
He's in later census as Green (Kirkdale/Bootle)
I was hoping Anast. may have dropped by on the night of census
I'll try the other Daly sibs.
