Hi,

I'm looking for information about the following individuals:

• - James Jacobson - Born 1816 Liverpool
  - Hans Jacobson - Father of the above, possibly from Scandinavia. The name may have been transcripted incorrectly on the christening record, i.e. it may originally have been "Jacobsen". His first name "Hans" suggests that anyway.
  - Jane Jacobson - Mother of James, wife of Hans

Hans and Jane were probably between 1780 and 1790.

My great grandmother was Jane Jacobson (born 1865), who married Samuel Mitchell in 1886. She was the daughter of Alice Jacobson, daughter of the Jane Jacobson married to Hans Jacobson.

Jane. gawd love her, is still in the cellar in 1871 at 116 Garden/Gordon?? Everton, widowed charwoman, she has g/dhtrs Elizabeth 10 and Jane 6 living with her.All bn Lpool.

You can find Jane and grandees at familysearch in their 1881 census. Jane is a charwoman, the two grandee girls are tobacconists.

Sadly looks like Jane died in dec qtr 1881 aged 66yrs W Dby rego.
