Hands / Fearon Marriage

Hello,
I have a marriage certificate for James Patrick Fearon and Selina Hands for April, 1920. They both give their address as Leonard St. Warrington on the marriage certificate. I understand Selina was living with an aunt and uncle before she was married, names unknown. Her father was Samuel Hands and she was born in Lanarkshire Scotland. If anyone recognises any of these names I would be pleased to hear from you.

Hi janice did you ever think selina aunt might be a name sake as name tend to be passed down through the generations found this

if i am following the right family line.....my dads line

in 1901 my great grandfather was living at 15 Leonard st in warring ton

His name was name was Thomas Hand, his sisters were Lottie and Emma at that time. His mother was a widow and her name was Margaret Hand


I have however a HandS branch on my other side of my mums line !!! just to add to the confusion and there i have a Salina who had siblings called
Sarah, Albert, John, beatrice , Joseph and William. William will be my gt grandfather by marriage (2nd marriage for my great gran)

Ive only just started on the family tree and my information is growing!
But i am aware of the fine line between the name Hand and HandS!

Hi Janice, these were the names of my grandparents, not sure of their address at that time but I know that they lived in Liverpool and had several children, my father James, his brothers and sisters, Samuel, Kathleen, Ronald, Joseph and Patsy. I was brought to Australia aged 3 in 1951, my grandfather had died when I returned to England in the 1960's but I met my Grandmother Selina on about 3 visits and I know that there was a connection to Scotland as I was taken there to visit relatives
