Can any one tell me where Nestor Terrace is/was in Bootle please.

1861 census has living there
David Scott 55
Eliza Scott 37 wife
Agnehs Lorain, 16 dau
Eliza Jane, 10 dau (my gr8 grandnother)
Walter 12, son
Arthur 9 son
John 5, son
William 3 dau
Jessie 1 day

l.. in1851 they are down as living at 15 BERRY ST. with
David aged 45
Alfred 12 son
Agnes Lorrain 6 dau
Walter 2 son
David 3 son
Eliza Jane 8 months dau


1n 1841 they are at Renshaw Street

David was born in ARANDALE, Scotland and know nothing about him or where to look. I think he must have been married twice but once again I have no details. From what I have found I have his birth in about 1802 Arandale, Scotland.
I haven't been able to find a marriage for David or mothers name for Catherine. I seem to remember seeing Catherine as being born in Scotland. I know ì will be asking in wrong place but can anyone tell me where to look for Arandale in Scotland please

It's possible the Catherine in the 1841 census is his wife, Catherine Wharton who he married in 1837 (refer to link above) and the enumerator made a mistake with the age.

The marriage entry for Catherine's father as "Dead" may suggest he was not known to her.

Catherine Scott, age 32, buried 17 March 1846, Necropolis Cemetery, died of Consumption.
