Hi anybody know what 216 Stanley Road was in 1939 I have found a register containing a list of names on this date containing one of my relatives

214 and 216 were occupied by the Norris family - they were furniture removers.

Welcome to the forum Ron. For our guys - Ron came to our Help Desk on Tuesday and has very sensibly joined our forum as I told him just how helpful you all are.
Ron found the 1939 Register with what we believe was a married lady, living apart from her family at this address, however there were a couple of pages of names all at the same address, so seems unlikely that it was just one family there. Ron please refresh my memory as to the lady's name and date of birth.

The Stanley Rd that appears to have 2 pages is 216a Stanley Rd, Liverpool CB, not Bootle?
216a, Stanley Hospital.

Really? that surprises me since 216 seemed to be nearer Merton Road, but Stanley Hospital was between Commercial/Melrose Road and Scotland Road. So I got it wrong.
But it certainly answers the question of why she was there and not with the family.
