Electoral registers Liverpool 1919

I see that Ancestry only appear to have Liverpool Electoral registers at five-year intervals (1920, 1925, 1930 and so on). Are the 1919 registers available at Liverpool RO? Are they on open search or do I have to book to see them?
I am interested in a Theresa Lee and her husband James Lee. In 1920 Theresa was on her own at 140 Crown Street, Abercromby Ward, Polling district BP. Was her husband listed as an absent soldier in 1919?

I've sent Katie a message to make sure she knows about this post, in the meantime when you open an Electoral Register, isn't there a drop down choice at the top so that you can look at the years in between. Granted you may have to scroll through them, but they are there to browse.

I have checked 1919 and the only person recorded at that address is Theresa Lee. If James Lee was an absent voter his name would be recorded with a letter (a) besides his name.

Thanks Katie and all. I had forgotten I had asked this before!
I have also just persevered with the browsing function on Ancestry and found the 1919 register. I saw what Katie saw:- Theresa on her own, qualification to vote is "O", i.e. her own occupation, not in right of a husband.
It does look like James Lee was a casualty of the Great War, but none of the entries on the CWGC match him, and there are family rumours that he was alive in 1924.
I suspect I'm not ever going to know what happened to him.
Thanks again, Barbara
