Thomas Orrett and Rose Ellen Hughes

Hi, I have renewed my subscription to FMP and have been browsing through the Newspapers section. There is a death Notice in the Liverpool Echo on 31st July 1929 reading:
Hughes - July 28th suddenly at 45 Upper Stanhope street cottages, Thomas Orrett, the dearly beloved husband of Rose Ellen Hughes. Interment at Allerton cemetery.
I cannot find a marriage for them, or even a Thomas Orrett marrying anyone called Rose or Rose Ellen. Originally I thought that he died at age 45, but then realised that it was the address

. Still cannot find anything
I may have to revisit the Allerton cemetery records to see if I can find any record of the burial and see if there is a headstone.

Doh, great work Bert as ever, I wondered why the death notice was in the name of Hughes! Looking a bit more, FMP has the copy marriage register with both parties being widowed at the time of that marriage. Thomas Hughes father was John Hughes, deceased and Rose's father being Peter Nelson.
I suppose now I should be looking for the marriage of Peter Nelson to someone related to an Orrett. Just found this:
Baptism: 25 Aug 1878 St Cuthbert, Everton, Lancashire, England
Thomas Orrett Hughes - [Child] of John Hughes & Elizabeth
Born: 27 Nov 1877
Abode: 48 Nesfield Street
Occupation: Messenger
Baptised by: J. Gallagher
Register: Baptisms 1892 - 1899, Page 5, Entry 4

Wonder if Elizabeth is the Orrett?
Sorry, your marriage image came through at exactly the same time as I posted!

Great work as ever Bert. I was ruminating about the Orrett link but you have found it!
FMP has the marriage Banns for Thomas Crossley marrying Mary Orrett on 4th June 1834 at St Anne Richmond church, Liverpool. He was a servant, she a spinster.
I have 2 possible Mary Orrett candidates in my tree, one born 1799 and one 1816. Shame the Banns didn't give an age. Looking at my tree, the 1799 lady is accounted for, so maybe it could be the 1816 Mary.

Alex, my sincere apologies, I was looking on my mobile phone and did not see your name as sending the response, so many thanks.
The 1816 Mary in my tree is not the correct one either - she is in the 1841 census as single and living with parents. Ah well, may have to park her for now.
Thanks to you both for your sterling efforts.
