JOHN b ABT 1877 Warrington. Who did he marry, where did he die, where buried ?, did he go Overseas ? Last census 1891
1841 & 1851 cen, I cannot find Patrick or Mary anywhere as their ages given on census's vary widely.
1861 cen @ Hawick, Roxburg, Scotland - they must have moved after this census as death of dau Mary Ann 2 Sep 1861 Liverpool Reg Dist and they must have lived in the area of Ford RC Cemetery
1871 cen @ 4 Tilleys Road, Warrington
1881 cen @ 1 Bennett St, Warrington
1891 cen @ 1 off Orford Lane, Warrington
After 1891 , I cannot find Patrick & Mary on 1901 & 1911 which is why the deaths I have found maybe correct but again their ages on census's are difficult to line up with possible deaths
This family certainly moved around. I hope there is enough information that someone may be able to fill in missing gaps, maybe you are missing a Patrick, Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) or a John Fitzpatrick and link them into this family.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated please.

Is this a typo?
She would have been 54ish when John was born 1877.

Re: PATRICK FITZPATRICK married MARY LITTLE - settled in WARRINGTON
Hi Bertieone
Firstly, many thanks for the newspaper info and copy of the Death Cert, and Soldier's Effects, looks like those names are the same as my F family.
Secondly, I didn't find this Baptism for Mary Little, a kind person in Ireland visited PRONI, where he found the marriage and a kind priest I knew translated the latin, this man
then searched for Baptism's for both Mary & Patrick. I will search and see if I can find a Mary Little a bit older.
I do know from some research that it is "possible" for women to be pregnant into their early 50's, rare, but it is said to have happened/happens. One for the back burner
Now for a bit of "moonlight" work of writing up the info, thank you.
I like to help people with research where I can.

Re: PATRICK FITZPATRICK married MARY LITTLE - settled in WARRINGTON
There was another 2 children born in Warrington, mothers maiden name, Little.
Ellen Fitzpatrick, 1867, died 1869
Matthew Fitzpatrick, 1874, died 1877.
Neither of them are buried in Warrington cemetery, I think likely to be in a RC church graveyard, also their parents.

Re: PATRICK FITZPATRICK married MARY LITTLE - settled in WARRINGTON
HI Bert,
Thanks, I cannot find a burial for an Ellen F aged 2 years or for Matthew F. A mystery.
Next, Ford Cemetery, did it have a church ? I have goggled and cannot find anything for one or for BAPTISM records.
If there wasn't a church at Ford Cemetery, what would be the nearest for Roman Catholics ? I did notice on the Burials, all of them was Direct to the Grave, so no service.
I have searched on Familysearch.org and found nothing.
Ancestry too : All Lancashire, England, Church of England Births and Baptisms, 1813-1911, nothing for this family, just in case they switched about.
FindmyPast: Nothing on their Parish Records in Warrington for this family.
I do believe I may have come to the end of the road in research for this family.
They had a poor life, children died at young ages, I noticed on the burial records as I scrolled through the one for Ford the amount of children under 7 buried was more in the
same years 1876/77 than the adults deaths for the Common Graves, those children same age was a quarter buried in Private Graves, just shows how poor Warrington was.
I do need to find the Burial for John Fitzpatrick, the Soldier, died in Belfast, I wonder if he was buried there or brought back home, a bit more searching for later on.
I also need to get credits to read the newspaper report on his death.

Re: PATRICK FITZPATRICK married MARY LITTLE - settled in WARRINGTON
Wend,
If you google, "genuki warrington" it should give you various cemeteries and Catholic churches, graveyards, etc. in the Warrington area.
Warrington is about 20 miles from Liverpool, families had difficulties paying for funerals, transportation costs were probably out of reach.
The newspaper article may well have information as to his burial. fingers crossed.

Re: PATRICK FITZPATRICK married MARY LITTLE - settled in WARRINGTON
Just to clarify about Ford Burials, Ford, Yew Tree and Ainsdale are the three RC cemeteries covering the Liverpool area, the burials would take place after a service at the deceased's local RC church. We often suggest checking the newspapers - probably the Liverpool Echo or Daily Post - as many funerals were notified in the paper, giving details of time and date of the service and later where the burial was.BindyWend wrote: ↑26 Jun 2019 13:31
