Searching for MBE record

Hi, I was talking to my wife's aunt over the weekend, who was saying that one of their relatives won an MBE for continuous work in a munitions factory during WW2.
Her name was Elizabeth Herbin, although her husband died in 1938, so not sure if she reverted back to her miden name of Ewart.
Will there be any records available, or is it a case of looking through newspaper records?

It seems that the announcements would be in the London Gazette, although I'm not sure if that's available online or whether you need to have a subs to the British Newspaper Archive.
Try this link

and don't forget that there's a supplement that are available on Findmypast

But the search needs a year and a month, it would take a long time to go through it all.

This wasn't very hard to find:
It was a BEM not an MBE

Thanks to you all as ever for your help. I did a name search on Ancestry, but didn't get any hits, and don't currently have a FMP subscription. I would not have known to look in The Gazette.
Bit of a difference between an MBE and BEM, but what's an anagram between friends
