The descendants of John Hodgson and Jane Farnworth

Hi,
John Hodgson and Jane Farnworth were married on 27 Aug 1805 in Blackburn. To the best of my knowledge they had 4 daughters - Elizabeth Hodgson (1810), Maria Hodgson (1813),Jane Farnworth Hodgson (18160 and Hannah (dob unknown). All four of them married in Liverpool:
Maria Hodgson - 1838 - Mark Hudson (my 3g-grandparents)
Elizabeth Hodgson - 1850 - Edward Williams
Jane Farnworth Hodgson - 1844 - James Mark Redding
Hannah Hodgson - 1850 - William Wells
I can trace the descendants of Maria and Mark Hudson, because I'm one of them ! However, I can find absolutely no trace of the three other sisters after their marriages. There appears to be no record in any census, not even in 1851, the first census after their weddings. There are no apparent children on the GRO index, and no apparent deaths/burials. I'm wondering if they emigrated and if so where they went. I've looked at all the possible variations on surnames (Hodgson in particular can have a number of variations) but found nothing.
I think I must be losing the plot. It's not unusual to lose trace of one marriage, but to lose trace of three siblings' marriages is very strange !
If anyone has the slightest idea then it would be hugely appreciated.
Many thanks, Gordon
