Seeking help in sources to find out what happened to Kenneth Lane
As per his birth certificate he was born on 15th June 1932 Liverpool to Samuel Lane and Mary Josephine nee Deegan, 96 Smithdown Lane. His brother Geoffrey was born in 1934.
The 1939 Census has 4 people living in the Lane household at 119 Grosvenor Road: Samuel, Mary J and 2 closed records which may indicate he was alive in 1939.
Have had no luck finding him in other sources with any certainty including electoral rolls or marriage records in the Liverpool area. There was a Kenneth Lane who lived in Salford born on 16 June 1932 whose death certificate I have requested from the GRO.
I live in South Australia so would appreciate any ideas and help

I believe you will find the certificate you have ordered will be the correct one, it's not unusual to find that a birth date is given a day or two out, maybe the person themselves didn't know for sure, or whoever gave the details at the time of registering the death.
