I am hoping someone with a better pair of eyes than myself could decipher the name of the road on a 1871 ,census, West Derby,Liverpool, page ,no RC 10/3840 .

Hi Bertieone, I don,t think that is it , the page the person,s I am interested in are Henry / Eliza Sillery age's are 27 and 28,it is the address that they are living at I am having the problem with.

Many thanks for your help and time, also the link ,I am guessing it is Street according to the map but I have to say it does look like a Sq.

Page 1 has both Street and Square, I assume the square would have been off/close by Hardwick street, not shown on map.

There is a place just off the Street that is blacked in on the map,guess that is the Square.No doubt any photo's of the Square will be like hen's teeth.

A couple of adverts in the Mercury has the address as, Hardwick Sq, Prescot Street.

The black area will be the church.

Hardwick Square has come up before about another family I had a photobucket map which I've just replaced on the thread:-

Thanks Blue ,I had a feeling I had heard of Hardwick Square before, but couldn't remember with whom in the family tree,and Family Tree Maker was no help at all.
This is for the Paternal side and they are causing me even more brick wall's than I would have dream't.
