Cemetery enquiry

I am interested in finding my great grandad's plot and have found a record that states it is
listed as 352 CEM 5/1/5
He was buried in 1935
I'm not sure what that number means but I think it's Allerton Cemetery

What is the best way of physically locating it?
Thanks
Dan

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I haven't been able to identify your reference in the catalogue at the Record Office https://liverpool.gov.uk/libraries/arch ... catalogue/ however I suspect you may be right, this is probably the reference to the Burial Register, which you can view on microfilm at the Record Office, 3rd Floor William Brown Street Library.

I agree with it being Allerton.

Looks like Allerton. The old LHP website refers to 352 CEM 5/1/1-3 as Allerton Cemetery 1909-1924:-

You could message the record office and ask them if they have the burial registers for that reference, cemetery, date of death and name. They may even look it up for you if you're lucky:-
