I thought there might have been a bootmaker there yes as various ones show in the directories. I'm researching an illegitimate birth at that address in 1901 it looks like the mother just lodged for a time and used the address for the birth, the child was then adopted and she went back to where she was from. I don't know if the Record Office has a 1901 Directory. It would be unlikely to catch the mother at the address though as she probably didn't stay there that long. Birth of the child was in January 1901. The 1901 directory was probably compiled months in advance of January 1901.
