Can anyone please tell me where this address was in 1810, found in Gore's directory, for one Samuel Lafone?

Every time I come across it, it has Richmond Gardens, St Anne's, also Richmond Street, St Anne's.
Assuming the gardens are in or close to Richmond St.

Hopefully Blue will have a map.

I can't spot it on any old maps. As Bert says it appears as Richmond Gardens, St Anne's in directories etc possibly suggesting that it was off St Anne Street.

Thank you both for ever-reliable replies. These old district names can be puzzling -Richmond, Windsor, Harrington and the like.

Looking at the occupations of the people who lived there it wouldn't have been a court. It could have been the name of a terrace of houses on St Anne Street that was at one time used to describe the location then later they were known by the street name. It could also have been a row of houses in the St Anne Richmond area that were demolished and replaced as the area became more built up and some of the better off people moved out.

Thanks again, Blue. I shall be content with knowing about the area.
