I would like a marriage look-up from St,Andrews Church, Bootle pleeease - (no hurry)

June qtr 1905 - Nora R. Barton to Karl Anderson. (Lancsbmd and freebmd).

Have found very little re Karl, as by 1911 census Nora was a widow; can't find a death for him.

I am helping a friend trace her ancestors, so am not able to buy certificates!

Mother Christine b 1862.
Daughter Nora b 1886.
Sister-in law Annie Johansson b 1874. all born in Liverpool, but living at Golden Measure Hotel Hull.
no luck with Karl
there's a Nora Barton living with her grand-father Bernt Johannsson. born in Norway. at 18 st johns rd.
Bootle in 1901 looks like there's a connection with Norway.

Yes that is the family, I have the 1891/1901/1911 census. It's Karl I am having difficulty with; he is elusive!!!!

It'll have to wait until next Tuesday unless anybody else manages to check it at the RO earlier.

You are very lucky! Not on microfilm but the archivist got the Register out for me this morning and the top of it is very badly burnt. As yours was Number 4 in the Register it was clear, but not expecting it to be in the archive I didn't have a camera with me, so hope the transcript will do.
