I am trying to trace my father's Irish first cousins. Seven boys, six of whom went to sea and at least three of whom have some connection with Liverpool. Their mother Annie MEMERY (nee Andrews) died there in 1956, but I don't know where she lived or when she moved from Dublin.

What I know - birth certificates found in Dublin. And from my uncle's memoirs, probably fairly correct :

William MEMERY b 1892 was on 'White Star Liners to the US and Australia'.
I have a photo of him in White Star uniform, and think he was on the 'Ionic'.

James MEMERY b 1894 went to live in Liverpool and was a 'pilot on the Mersey Approaches'.
He's not apparently in the 1938 directory.

Arthur MEMERY b 1895 was 'Chief Steward on the Liverpool-Dublin Line'

Frederick MEMERY b 1897 was 'Ship's Engineer' and possibly moved to Liverpool.

I have a board covered with photos here but have only identified five of the nine children with certainty - three of the boys!

So far nothing from your links, but I'm not very good at searching the National Archives.
Is it possible to find out more?

There's 3 name matches in the 1938 directory,

Frederick Memery, Marine Fireman, 38 Uldale Cl, L11

Arthur Memery, ships Officer, 122 Woodchurch Lane, Prenton, Cheshire.

Jas (James) Memery, Warehouseman, 22 Elms House Rd, L13

Now that's interesting.

Arthur, Ship's Officer would be 43...sounds like a Chief Steward. Looks like one too.

Frederick would be 41, and Marine Fireman seems right for what the man in the photo I had provisionally decided was him is wearing - dark suit with waistcoat and short close fitting jacket with one row of buttons.....

James? Not sure. If my James, he'd be 42...bit young. I thought a warehouseman would be retired...and there are other James Memerys including his father, but I think he probably would
be in Dublin...on the other hand James's mother was in Liverpool!
I can find very little about the Mersey pilots.

I will see if the houses are still there, too, get some idea what kind of place.

There's a James Memery born 1868 in the 1939 Register in Liverpool.
Seems that is his dad, then.
No sign of his wife Annie, who is supposed to be still alive, though.

The 1901 Irish census has him as William Winter Memery, wondering if the chap on the Ionic who signed W R Memery is the same chap, W R born in Dublin, gives the address, 71 Albert Rd Woolwich.

Church of Ireland marriage of James Memery of Ringsend, County Dublin to Annie Andrews, 29th June 1891, in Dublin. James and father William were both 'Fisherman'.

Irish Genealogy doesn't have an image, but it looks like the marriage of Frederick Andrews and Anne Birmingham took place in Dublin South in Q1, 1863:

Repeat, if I can remember. First, thanks, but I have most of the 19th Century records.
Frederick Andrews was my great-grandfather.
William was William Winter. William R was a relative born a year apart.
I have Arthur's marriage but don't know her maiden name.

I want to follow the brothers into the 20th century.
How about brothers John Memery b 1902, and Henry Memery born 1904?
Henry didn't go to sea, and may have died in 1934.

Lets see if this one works!

I thought that was her name... but I could be wrong... it has been known... the experts will be along shortly...

Could she be a cousin or wider family member? Or the widow of a brother?

I think that makes seven brothers. And two sisters, Rebecca and Frances.
