I'm interested in the marriage of Patrick Cox and Ellen Grogan at Our Lady, Lydiate in 1887. It's available via Liverpool History Projects and I've submitted a request. It's a long time since I used this service does anyone know if it's still going? I have all the information on this family but want any information for Patrick's parents to match up with possible baptisms in County Mayo, Ireland.

Re: Our Lady Lydiate
I don't believe the site has been monitored for a number of years, others on Facebook have asked the same question but nobody has been able to give a positive answer.
Do you know where the registers might be held? There's a phone number given here http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Maghull/churches but I suspect it might be Preston that holds them.

Hi Mary,
Yes Genuki says Lancashire RO. I've found an e-mail address on the website below they may be able to provide some marriage details. Two of their sons died in WW1, one of flu in the USA prior to serving overseas the other died winning the Military Medal and both are on the church War Memorial. They are related to one of my cousins:-
