Lancs BMD have names as Joseph Manchester & Esther Tinsley and "West Derby, Register Office or Registrar Attended" so it could be at an RC church whose records are not online.

I recently did an exercise to see which RC churches were at the RO but not on Ancestry, however haven't really taken this further due to the possibility of many of them being removed from the records available, but from the list I made these churches cover that date.

St James, Chestnut Grove, Bootle
St John, Fountains Road, Kirkdale
St Malachy, Beaufort Street, Toxteth
St Winifride, Oriel Road, Bootle
Holy Cross, Great Crosshall Street, Liverpool
Oratory of St Philip Neri, Catherine Street, Toxteth
St Peter's Priory, Seel Street, Liverpool

I wouldn't imagine that the marriage would have taken place at any of these, geographically a bit out of the way.

A likely one may be St Swithin, Gillmoss Lane, Gillmoss

I would suggest you take a look at the Lancashire Record Office Catalogue to see what RC churches might have been around the Kirkby area and towards Ormskirk, although as it's classed as West Derby, I would think nearer to Kirkby.
