Do you have access to historic patient records for this hospital? Mary Walker died there on 29 Jul 1944 aged 16.

They are at the Archives, however there is a 100 year closure. The research officer can access the details, but you will have to provide proof of death. There will also be a research fee.

I hope it's ok to chip in here Alan....my grandmother died in Belmont Hospital in 1949...

Katie is it possible to request and pay for medical details online from the archives.
