silver watch

Thanks for all the feedback. Now another problem.
I have got a silver pocket watch from Lancashire watch company. I have been in touch with Prescot museum for information.
Yhey told me it was made in 1901. it was a size 16 dummy date finished 17-7-1901. Invoiced Dec 1901 to St.Helens and P. They do not know what the P is for, can anyone help / thank you

That was just a guess, based on the results of a Google search. But the Masonic organisation does seem to present special watches. Some are shown on ebay and other sites:

Only problem is that it does not have a masonic insignia on it
