I do like my relatives to be buried... but I can't find this one.
She died 9 January 1900 in Hermans St. I have the death certificate. She was the widow of William Mitchell, who died 1895 when they lived in Netherfield Rd. He was buried in Kirkdale cemetery, Longmoor Lane, in a communal grave. I don't know where I found that info about William, but I must have been 99% sure to record it in my tree. I am silly and did not record the source. I have ancestry and used to have FMP. It is not on Lancs OPC.
Any help would be gratefully received.
PS I have found the hard copy of the Kirkdale register. I must have got someone to copy it for me. So it is just info on Eliza that I need. Thanks
Just a thought, I haven't heard of Hermans Street, although somebody might be able to enlighten me, but I wondered if the address might have been Hemans Street which might mean that she was buried in Bootle rather than the Liverpool area?

Should have gone to spec savers It is Hemans St. That is still Liverpool, isn't it? Back of St James Cemetery ish. I will have to ask Liverpool Library to look for me.
Hi folks in 1894 Directory Hemans St was in Toxteth Park, between Upr Hill St and Upr Warwick St. Sorry Wm Mitchell not listed or Eliza.

There must be two of them, there is definitely one in Bootle in later years, but I do see that the link I gave you for the map shows it in Toxteth
