Does anyone know what the piece, folio, page etc is to access the 1891 census for Foley Street. I am trying to find a Christina Davies who married from Foley Street in 1892 but searching the 1891 census under her name is not giving me any success,
Thanks
Marie.

Thank you so much Bert. She married from 39 Foley Street in 1892. She obviously wasn't at 39 in 1891! I'll keep looking!

Marie

She may have used a friend or relative's address, that often happened just to save money on two sets of banns being called.

When was she born?

There's a Christina P Davies at 110 Kirkdale Road.
Aged 14, born Liverpool, father William Davies, a cycle/sewing machine dealer from Lanark

RG12/2958 folio 55 page 36

Ancestry has it transcribed as Harris

I was going to say "another cock up by them" but looking at it, it's one time when they could be forgiven as it does look a bit ambiguous.

Many thanks Retiring Type. Unfortunately not the one I am looking for. She was born 1870. Probably the name has been mis-transcribed as this one has. I'll keep looking,
