William Henry GARRAWAY died at 126 Smithdown Road, Sefton Park on 12 April 1938. The informant A(da) Dugdale (nee Aldridge) of 27 Nestor Street, L8 is actually his step-daughter but listed as a daughter.

He married aged 30 to her mother Ann ALDRIDGE (widow) on 22nd May 1899 at St Matthew's Toxteth - son of Thomas GARRAWAY, a mariner.

I found a baptism for him on 29 Aug 1869 at Holy Trinity, Toxteth, son of Thomas Henry and Ellen GARROWAY. He was born 02 Aug 1869 at the Lying in Hospital, Liverpool - mother maiden name of DUMPHY - father forename as Henry Thomas.

Just need to locate his final resting place now!

Members of this family are buried in Toxteth Park Cemetery in Smithdown Road so it's likely that later burials took place at the newer Allerton Cemetery.
