Who was living in Paul St Liverpool.

I'm sure someone on your site can work the census from an address. Bert did it for the last enquirer, but will it work in 1841 and 51.

I am trying to find out if Ellen Harrison b 1766/8 , was married to Thomas Harrison Sawyer and died 1847 Paul Street Liverpool was the mother of Richard Harrison b 1810 and living in Eaton St.
In 1841 she was next door to Richard in Eaton St. The death certificate I have says the informant was Elizabeth Harrison of Paul St. She may have had a daughter Elizabeth b 1793 in Formby, but can't find her in 1841. I think I have her , a spinster visitor in Walton on the Hill in 1851 - but not sure. So would like to know where she lived. Please Thanks

In the 1851 this reference will get you to #1 Paul Street...
HO107 - 2178 - 547 - Page 12.
By paging on through the series... via Page 13, Page 14, etc, you should be able to do a walk down the street. Wear good shoes!

Thanks Dickiesam. This is what is causing my dilemma. 2 Thomas and Ellen Harrison married within 6 years of each other.
I have children born Liverpool and baptised St Pauls;
Abode
Jenny 1797 Plumbe St Sawyer
Margaret 1799 Plumbe St.
James 1801 Plumb St Sawyer
Thomas 1802 Plumb St Sawyer
James 1806 Leeds st Cowkeeper
Jane 1808 Old Hall St Cowkeeper
Richard 1810 Old Hall St Labourer
Edward 1813 Old hall st Labourer.

The death cert I have for Ellen Harrison died 1847 says widow of Thomas Harrison Sawyer
There are also records for
Elizabeth 1793
Margaret 1797 both born Seaforth baptised Crosby, father Thomas mother Ellen, but no other info. My thoughts are that these 2 must belong to Thomas and Ellen Prescot as they were married in 1792. I don't know if I have mixed up the 2 families or not

I am putting this up the list again. There is a granddaughter Elizabeth, who lived with Ellen Harrison (and Thomas) in 1841, daughter of James Harrison. It might have been her who lived with Ellen and was present at death (aged 20). I have also found that Paul Street is just the other side of Vauxhall rd to Eaton St. I would appreciate your thoughts on it. Lynne
