Trying to trace a family member

Hi I am trying to find Harold Chambers dob 24/03/1933 ,born in Liverpool ,he was admitted to St Edwards Orphanage Liverpool on22/06/1943 and left on 15/03/1950 .This is all the information I have about Harold I am his cousin who has only just found out about him .Any help would be very welcome .

There's a birth for a Harold Chambers mothers maiden name Chambers in 2nd qtr 1933 W Dby rego. Vol 8b page 551.
Perhaps you should sent for his birth certificate??

Hi I don't know if LRO have records for St Edwards? One of our members will know.
It was in Broadgreen run by the Brothers of Charity, who didn't spare the cane. Despite this, online comments say they had a good all round education. A wonderful band and football team from earlier years.

Hi I've been in touch with the Brothers of Charity ,all they could tell me was the date he entered and the date he left ,no clue as to where he went though
