I am trying to find out about a Company that my Dad worked for in the 1960's to early 1970's.
It was called Thomas Frazer (or Fraser), they were Shipping Butchers. They were based on Regent Road, Kirkdale.

Here is information from Kelly's Liverpool Directory, 1968:
Fraser, Thomas & Son Ltd., 66-72 Regent Street, Liverpool 3. Shipping butchers & wholesale meat salesmen. Stall 30, Stanley Meat Market, Prescot Road, also Birmingham.
In the Wholesale Butchers section they had another address: 8, Transport Yard, Stanley Abbatoir.

It was Fraser with 's', not 'z'.
I have a very faint memory that the owners were latterly called Hiughes.

The name should have been Hughes - a finger slipped!

Regent Street is the connection, good find Daggers, that is the clincher.

Hughes was a very well known butchers around Liverpool in the 70's/80's, would they be the same one do you think?
