Hi Folks its me again,
decided to straighten up my tree for John William Davies and Nora Prendergast, thought I had no where else to go with it so may has well finish it off........oh dear what a can of worms!!
Decided to send for death certificate of little boy called John Francis Davies 1900-1907 this little un is in the family grave you found for me, well I couldnt leave him unidentified or not belonging could I
There is an entry in FreeBMD for the death of John W Davies aged 37 in Q4 1915 in West Derby. He is buried in Toxteth Park Cemetery section 11 grave 149. Address 48 Thames Street, Toxteth Park. In the same grave are: Elizabeth Davies, 12 July 1891, aged 14 (this appears to be Williams youngest sister) John Francis Davies, 26 November 1907, aged 7(as yet not identified) William Davies, plumber, 4 January 1886, aged 29 (John William's dad) Olive Jane Taylor, 6 March 1895, aged 30 (nee Smart sister of Sara West, William Davies wife and John William Davies mother) Lilian Elizabeth Davies, 20 July 1912, aged 2 months (mother's name was Roberts. This is the child of Charles Davies and Gertrude Davies )
So the death certificate arrived today.........and it goes like this (would like to give you picture, but forgotten how and cant find instructions
)
20/11/1907 John Francis Davies Male aged 7 son of John William Davies, a House Painter (journeyman) died after 10 days of Bronco Pheunomonia (present at death H Davies (Mother!!!) 51, Dove Street Toxteth park
As John William Davies's, first daughter with Nora Prendergast was my great auntie Jessie May Davies was born 18/12/1901 and went to live and be brought up by Sara West Smart (John's mother) who is H Davies ????
As you know I have nothing in 1901 for John William Davies......is he living in 51 Dove street with his wife H Davies !!!!
Have tried looking for details of Dove Street, but struggling can anyone give me some clues on this...........Apart from now knowing Mr John William Davies my dear great great grandad was possibly living a double live and with all his occupations maybe a touch of the "Walter Mitty" syndrome
Who and where did H Davies go?? your help would be appriciated. I didnt link this to the saga thats on here already cos to be honest the previous is so complex where do I fit this in
