please can someone give me a clue where to look for Tom and Rosa Coombe
have tried everything I can think of , Tom is on the 1911 census in the workhouse as a widower ,no sign of Rosa in the deaths , have been going around in circles for a few years now and getting no further on , I have asked before , anything at all , they lived in Liverpool ,

Can you tell us their ages? when did they marry and where they were in 1901? Did they have any children?

I think Simone's sorted out the answers Doedoe. I found Tom in 1911 and discovered his age and birthplace, anyway still looking.

Daughter Rosa is in census after 1901 with quite a few kiddies, Louisa St.
Perhaps no room to look after her Dad?

Mar qtr 1871
Tom Coombe to Rosa Baker.

Her age in 1891 would have Rosa at 17/18 when she married.
Ditto 1881, son Tom jr is 9 yrs old in this census born Torquay.
Clara 4 born Lpool which gives a time frame for when they moved.
The only reason I looked for their marriage was because I thought perhaps Rosa was a shortened
name for something else, to help find her death.

Hi Glossy, I found the manifest for Roses Coombes, deffo Rosa, she was travelling with E Coombes, cannot translate her relationship, he was a labourer, deffo not wife.

Added: Rose Coombes 1911 to Montreal is listed as a spinster, no more info.
