Mary CUMMINS ( McKEOWN )

Evenin all. Need the help of our friendly Gurus once again. My Gt. G/Mother Mary CUMMINS B. 1852 in Ireland, married Edward McKEOWN in 1867 in Liverpool.
I have been able to plot her up to the 1911 Census when she was living with her daughter, Ellen FITZGIBBON in Manchester. I can't be really sure as to when she died - possibly ( and only possibly ) around 1939 when rumour control tells me that she was buried in Ford Cemetery. Any ideas with regards to details of her death etc would be appreciated, or a shove in the right direction. Sorry to be a pain but I am semi- exiled and living in the South.
Regards to you all. Chris McK

I think Daniel is Mary's son. His full name was Patrick Daniel McKeown he died in 1955 and was buried in the same grave. Patrick Daniel was married to Elizabeth Fitzgibbon. There's more information available ie Patrick Daniel's RC marriage record and his probate record from 1955 if needed. Here is the McKeown family on the 1881 Census:-

Thanks Blue70 and TINA for the help, I knew that I could rely on the forum to help me out - with people /friends like you lot brick walls soon come tumbling down. Now I can finish off Mary's life history and move on to the next in line, which might as well be Patrick Daniel now that I have a head start on him
You are all diamonds and I for one truly appreciate the comeraderie and help from members such as yourselves. Thanks again
Best Wishes. Chris McK.

Hi Chris,
Did you know there are trees on Ancestry for this family? I didn't realise that the family had two Edwards the first one that appears on the 1881 Census must have died young. Your Grandfather Edward John McKeown is listed among the baptism indexes on the Liverpool History Projects website as follows:-
Year-Ref: 1886-5057
Church: St John
Year of Birth: 1885
Year of Baptism: 1886
Forename: Edward John
Surname: McKown
Father: Edward
Mother: Mary Cummins
This baptism record does not appear on the Ancestry website but the full record can be purchased from the LHP website:-
