Which is the best/cheapest site to try and find someone in the 21st century?
I have the name of the person but am trying to find an up to date address.
Electoral rolls
Re: Electoral rolls
192.Com You have to buy credits. Allows you to search free first.

Thanks for that but it seems to be not working tonight - I'll try again tomorrow.

They don't use the credits system but offer a series of 'continuous access periods'. The basic one is a full continuous 24 hours access to the 2001 to 2012 ERs for just £3.50. That means what it says so if you log off the site within the 24 hours you have to stump up again. I have usually found anyone I was looking for within a couple of hours. The site has an 'age decade filter' that allows you to narrow the search field as well as a 'district filter' and the results include other residents in the household of voting age.
One snag with the online ERs is that folk now have to option of 'ticking a box' to be excluded from the commercially available rolls. So you should check the early rolls first.
