Liverpool & South West Lancashire FHS - Forum

Sudley House in Mossley Hill was occupied by a pair of unmarried sisters, Ellen and Cicely Robinson, before George Holt bought it in 1883.
I cannot find either of them in the 1861 or 1881 census.
A website from the Museum states that they died in 1883 and I cannot find them on FreeBMD, even allowing for age slippage. In 1851 Ellen was 48, Cicely 46.
Can anyone please throw any light on them?

Not sure if this could be Ellen Robinson, as birth year is given as abt 1809
However death record is Apr qtr 1884 Liverpool 8b 63

Cicely died 20 Oct 1877. She's in the probate index

Trying to find Ellen and Cicely in censuses without success so far, but... did find their younger brother Charles Backhouse Robinson in 1881 at:
