I've loads of information on the Ambrose family (I'm an Ambrose) and the name Peter Grace rings a bell. I can't look for it now as I'm just off to the Dig up your roots day in Ormskirk but will look this evening.

Hi and welcome to the forum, aren't you lucky that the marriage was just after the beginning of civil registration, that has helped you a lot.

I'm sure Hilary will have some information on the Ambrose surname, watch this space but she has a busy day ahead so it won't be until later or in the morning.
